Meroogal House, Nowra | Dharawal and Dhurga country, is a place of women’s stories and the histories of early European settlement. The house and tea pots / Théières tell a multitude of stories about the pleasures and labours of daily life, of the women and the south-coast community in which they lived.

Théières hold women stories and knowledge and these pot resonated with me as does embroidery which was passed down to me from my mother and aunt from my grandmother.
